Jose Mourinho: Paul Pogba is a ‘virus’
An astonishing claim has been made by Duncan Castles in the Daily Record on Sunday – the morning after Man United’s 2-2 draw away at Southampton.
According to Castles, who is known to have sources close to Jose Mourinho, the Man United boss ripped into Paul Pogba after the Saints game.
In front of the other Man United players, Mourinho called Pogba a “virus”. Castles reports:
In a post-match dressing down delivered in front of the entire United team, Mourinho is understood to have called Pogba “a virus”.
According to a dressing-room source, Pogba was admonished with the words: “You don’t play. You don’t respect players and supporters. And you kill the mentality of the good honest people around you.”
Mourinho seemed to aim a thinly veiled dig at Pogba after the Southampton game in public.
