Chelsea fans slam Davide Zappacosta after West Ham defeat 9/12/2017 | 08:15pm by James Beavis Chelsea fans slam Davide Zappacosta after West Ham defeat Chelsea’s 12-match unbeaten run in all competitions came to an end when they were beaten 1-0 by Premier League strugglers West Ham United at the London Stadium on Saturday, and Blues fans weren’t impressed with Davide Zappacosta’s performance. Antonio Conte’s men’s previous defeat came against bottom of the table Crystal Palace in mid-October, but they came unstuck against another team in the relegation zone in east London with Marko Arnautovic’s first-half goal proving to be the difference between the two teams. Zappacosta was handed the right wing-back spot ahead of Victor Moses at the London Stadium but, along with many of his teammates, he endured a nightmare afternoon and was tormented by the Irons’ Arthur Masuaku. Chelsea supporters were quick to have their say on the Italian’s display via social media, and while one said “he’s garbage”, another said “Zappacosta is one of the worst players I have seen at Chelsea in the last 10 years”.
