Bate borisov won 12th league title

Bate Borisov win their 12th league in the 96th minute of final game 26/11/2017 20:14 CET After 11 successive Belarusian titles, BATE Borisov saved their most memorable title triumph for Sunday, winning their domestic league in the 96th minute of the final match. Their 12th straight success was far more of a challenge than it should've been, as a comfortable victory was expected against Gorodeya. Initially things went to plan with Mirko Ivanic scoring the opening goal after 19 minutes, but then disaster struck as the hosts scored three goals before the 47th minute. Their grip on the league title slipping, BATE went for broke and scored a penalty with 12 minutes remaining. With seconds to play, Dinamo Minsk thought they had the title won as they were still one point clear of their rivals, however, Ivanic popped up in the 96th minute to score an equaliser which handed his club the title on goal-difference.
