Manchester United are closing on deals worth a combined £130m to sign Torino striker Andrea Belotti and Real Madrid forward Alvaro Morata, according to reports in the British media.
The Independent is reporting that Jose Mourinho wants to give his striker options a complete makeover as Manchester United eye Belotti and Morata in the summer transfer window.
The same article states that Manchester United have already agreed personal terms with Morata but are still to conclude negotiations with Real Madrid over the forward’s price tag.
Indeed, the Red Devils are thought to be confident of getting a reduction on Real Madrid’s current £78m asking price.
Independent chief football writer Miguel Delaney is also reporting that Manchester United have submitted a £70m offer for Torino centre-forward Belotti.
The Italy international is thought to have a contract release clause around £84m but Manchester United are confident of signing the 24-year-old on a cheaper deal.
Manchester United finished in sixth place in the Premier League table last season but won the EFL Cup and the Europa League.
